PICU RN

Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in Lubbock, Texas.
13-week contract.
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00.
36 hours per week.
Expected patient ratio: 1:2.
This role may float to Pedi Med/Surg and NICU.
Weekends are required on a variable basis.
On-call is not required.
Block scheduling is not required; self-scheduling is used.
48 hours are not approved.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (1 year of experience).
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year.
BLS required.
PALS required.
NRP required.
ACLS required.
NURSYS verification required for all RNs.

Preferred

Children’s Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
181 total staff beds.
RN scrub color: Navy.

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted.
