Overview

• Travel RN role in Cortez, Colorado
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Night shift: 6pm–6am
• Start date: 12/7
• Must have experience in Labor and Delivery
• Willing to train Nursery and Recovery

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Associate degree required
• Current Colorado Registered Nurse license; compact license accepted, with Colorado license obtained within the first 90 days of hire
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Successful completion of EKG course
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• Ability to interpret fetal heart rate strips

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Additional languages preferred
• ICU/Inpatient experience preferred

Unit-Specific Requirements

• Current PALS certification within 6 months of hire, excluding FBC
• Successful completion of basic fetal monitoring course within 4 months of hire
• NRP certification within 4 months of hire

Additional Notes

• Understanding of telemetry monitoring and basic arrhythmia interpretation is part of the role
• Uses EMAR for medication administration and documentation
• Heavy physical demands, including lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally
