PT Outpatient

Role

• Physical Therapy outpatient assignment in Kinston, North Carolina.
• Travel/contract role.
• No locals within 50 miles.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
• Day shift: 5x8s, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 4 days per week, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
• No call.
• No weekend requirement.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in North Carolina
• Physical Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Master's degree in Physical Therapy, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Preferred Qualifications

• EPIC experience preferred.

Patient Volume / Workflow

• 1 patient per hour for the full 4 units.
• Primarily 1:1 therapy.
• Double-booking is very rare.
• 2 evaluations scheduled per day.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment, including evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, patient/family education, caregiver training, mobility support, and coordination with the rehab team.
• Supports teamwork through supervision of physical therapist assistants and techs, student mentoring, orientation of new employees, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Maintains clinical competencies and participates in continuing education and CQI activities.
