Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Beckley, West Virginia
• Based in the CAMC Cancer Center
• 13-week contract
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
• Daily caseload: 70
• Patient ratio experience: 1:4
• First-timers accepted
• No on-call
• Does not float within scope
• Does not float to sister facilities
• Locals are not accepted
• Candidate must live more than 100 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in West Virginia
• Infusion (2 years of experience)
• Infusion experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License
• Clean license with no prior suspensions
• Pending West Virginia state license accepted
• Must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility
• Must be willing to receive flu vaccination or have approved medical/religious exemption
• Tdap vaccination given after age 11
• Negative TB test within 3 months of start, or acceptable alternative per source requirements
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• Annual skills checklist for specialty
• 1 reference from a manager, supervisor, or charge nurse from a facility worked within 1 year of start
• Social Security Card
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Annual fit testing
• Annual color blind testing
• Annual medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Annual competency exam
• Pass/fail testing for nursing
• WV state liability form
• WV state time gap form
• Background check and required screenings
• State license verification

Additional Notes

• Orientation occurs every other Thursday for RNs
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
