Pediatric CVOR Tech

Overview

• Travel/contract assignment in Miami, Florida
• 13-week immediate-fill role
• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00–15:30
• Schedule may vary with OR case load; some weeks may be four 10-hour shifts
• Call is required, with alternating 1st call and 2nd call coverage
• High-acuity pediatric cardiac OR environment

Required Qualifications

• CVOR Technologist with 1 year of experience
• CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program
• Cardiac and congenital heart surgical experience
• Experience with cardiopulmonary bypass and perfusion workflows
• Experience with hybrid OR procedures
• Experience with transcatheter procedures
• Experience with robotic-assisted procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of surgical technologist experience in an acute care setting
• CST certification

Role Summary

• Provides specialized scrub support for complex cardiac, congenital, hybrid, transcatheter, and robotic-assisted procedures
• Manages cardiac instrumentation, implants, grafts, valves, and devices
• Serves as the primary scrub technologist for complex cardiac and congenital heart procedures
• Supports cardiopulmonary bypass, hybrid OR, cardiac catheterization, and robotic procedures as applicable
