Certified Surgical Technician

Overview

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Employment type: LTA
• Shift: 4 10-hour day shifts, 7:00am–5:30pm
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Details

• Call is required: 1 call shift per week in a 6-week schedule
• One weekend call every 5 weeks, either Saturday or Sunday, 7:00am–7:00am
• Must respond to the hospital within 30 minutes of the supervisor’s call
• This is a level 3 trauma center assignment
• Must be able to scrub orthopedic total joints, laparoscopic procedures, and robotic procedures

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with 1 year of experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License
• Experience with total joint surgery procedures
• Experience with laparoscopic procedures
• Experience with robotic surgery
• Compact or Ohio State license
• Temporary licenses are not accepted; a valid permanent license is required
