Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Atlanta, Georgia
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30–19:00
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 15 weeks
• Weekend-only option available: Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday
• Locals accepted
• Unit accepts first-time travelers

Schedule and assignment details

• Call is required and is typically one weekday call each week plus one weekend every 5–6 weeks
• Floating is within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Holiday coverage is expected based on the assignment period and contracted RTO

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• CVOR (2 years of experience)
• CVOR experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Color blind testing required
• Competency exam required for Nursing and Allied by Aya only
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required for RNs and LVNs by Aya only
• NURSYS verification required for RN, LPN/LVN, AP
• State license verification required, if applicable
• Tech cert verification required, if applicable
• Background check required and must be complete before start
• Education verification required and must be complete before start
• Physical exam required within 12 months of start
• Negative TB or chest x-ray required
• TB questionnaire required
• Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 60 days of start
• Flu vaccine or declination required
• References required by Aya
• Skills checklist required within 12 months
• Work history verification required for most recent employer

Preferred

• No holiday RTO is strongly preferred
• Tdap is highly recommended but not required for clearance

Additional notes

• Clinical screening is case-by-case before manager review
• Non-billable orientation hours depend on contract length
