Occupational Therapist
Location
- Ogden, Utah
Schedule
- 5x8 hour days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Weekends as needed with advanced notice
- On call: No
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Utah
- Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- Master's degree in occupational therapy
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Previous IRF experience (Inpatient Rehabilitation)
- QI credentialling
- Certified Occupational Therapist through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Role Summary
- Provides direct patient services including identifying, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating
- Provides indirect services including consulting, advising, teaching, and training patients and caregivers
- Assesses and evaluates patient condition according to physician order and current standards of practice
- Provides treatment based on the established plan of care
- Educates and trains patients and caregivers
- May supervise and train students, COTAs, and Aides
