Stepdown Neuro

Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Jackson, Tennessee.
• Neuro/Surgical Telemetry floor.
• Night shift: 3x12s, 18:45–07:15.
• 36 hours per week.
• No on-call.
• May float to other MS/Tele units or ICU (low acuity).
• 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
• 13-week contract.
• Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Stepdown experience within the last year.
• 1 year of Stepdown experience.
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
• NIHSS.
• Epic experience within the past 18 months.

Preferred

• Travel experience.

• Proof of 2 clinical references required.
• Complete application/resume required.
• Background check required within 30 days of start.
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start.
• N95 fit test required within 1 year of start.
• Negative TB screening required within 1 year of start.
• Drug screen required within 30 days of start.
• COVID vaccination or medical/religious exemption required prior to start.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season.
