Radiology Technologist

Overview

• 13-week assignment in Golden, Colorado
• Night shift: Friday-Sunday, 4:00 PM–4:30 AM
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Radiology Technologist with 1 year of experience
• Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (R)
• ARRT (CT)
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience in Supervisor roles

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures and related radiographic exams
• Operate X-ray imaging and related equipment
• Educate, position, and immobilize patients for X-ray procedures
• Coordinate X-ray examinations to support timeliness, quality, and continuity of care
• Follow provider imaging orders correctly
• Submit images and related clinical information for radiologist interpretation
• Evaluate image quality
• Prepare and administer contrast according to radiologist protocol
• Follow radiation safety measures (ALARA)
• Practice sterile technique and infection prevention policies
• Supervise and evaluate student radiographers in the clinical setting

Additional Information

• Personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required
• Experience with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite, is needed
• Must be able to communicate effectively and diplomatically in a multi-functional team
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
