Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:00–15:30
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Locals accepted: Yes
- Call requirement: Neuro call, 90–120 hours every 6 weeks
- Unit/setting: Trauma Level I; core areas include Neuro and Trauma
- Special equipment: DaVinci XI Methodist
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NBSTSA
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Trauma Level I experience
- Neuro specialty experience with 3s and 4s proficiency level
- Trauma specialty experience with 3s and 4s proficiency level
- Ortho Trauma experience
- Neuro Spine experience
- Basic Craniotomy experience
- VP shunt experience
- PV-RX AAA experience
- Thrombectomy experience
Preferred
- Some flap and scope experience
Notes
- Interview availability of 2–3 days should be provided when submitting candidates
