Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Seward, Alaska
• Long Term Care Facility
• 40 staffed beds
• 1:20 ratio
• 13-week assignment
• Start date: ASAP
• Shift: 4x12 variable; shifts will be either days or nights based on facility needs at start

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alaska
• Long Term Care (1 year of experience)
• Long Term Care experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• Willingness to work any holidays is preferred

Schedule / Assignment Details

• No on-call
• No block schedule
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
• Can be called off for 1 12-hour shift per 2 weeks
• RTO: no more than 2 weeks will be considered for a 26-week contract; all RTO must be submitted with the application

Facility Notes

• Parking is free
• Scrub color: any
• Charting system: ECS
• Facility will arrange shuttle transportation to and from Anchorage at the start and end of the contract
• Local shuttle is available in Seward for transportation assistance

Additional Requirements

• Alaska Food Worker Certification is required during orientation on-site; it does not need to be completed before start and has a one-time $10 fee
