Registered Nurse (RN) - Float / Inpatient Float

Overview

• Location: Keene, New Hampshire
• Employment type: Temp
• Shift: Days, 12 hours
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Patient population: Adult-Geriatric

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Hampshire
• New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License / Registration Certificate
• Float experience with at least 2 years of experience
• Float experience within the last year
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Experience with cardiac drips, including other step down practices
• Must be able to work the stepdown unit when needed
• Experience with Epic
• Must be willing to float between Thompson, Farnum, and Kingsbury units
• Must have their own vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

• ICU RN experience will be considered

Scheduling / Assignment Notes

• Block scheduling will not be considered
• Requested time off must be noted and verified at upload
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
• Travelers may not take all holidays off
• Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled or needed:

  • Thanksgiving Day, Friday after, and the weekend after
  • Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after
  • New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the weekend after
• May float between units during the shift, including 4 hours in Kingsbury and 8 hours in Farnum during one shift
• Local travelers within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Cannot work in conjunction with another perm placement or travel assignment
• Schedule accommodations such as block scheduling are not accepted
