Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Easton, Maryland.
• Rotating night/evening schedule; primary need is for night shift.
• 36 hours per week; 3x12 or 4x12 accepted.
• Every other weekend required.
• Holidays required as scheduled.
• Floating may include the specialty and sister ED facilities in Cambridge, Chestertown, and Queenstown.
• On-call shifts are not required.
• First-time traveler accepted.
• Contract length: 16 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN license in Maryland.
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience).
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
• NIHSS.
• CPI, completed during onboarding.
• Every candidate must sign the RN job description prior to start.
• Two supervisory references within 1 year of start.
• Verification of at least 2 years’ experience in a hospital or equivalent acute care environment in the position the nurse will be working in, from within the last 5 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• NRP.
• TNCC.

Patient Population / Setting

• ED serving all age ranges, from infant to geriatric.
• Fast-paced setting with complex diagnoses across all systems.
• Typical ratio is 1:4, with up to 5 at lower acuity.
