Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab

Temp Registered Nurse (RN) in Cath Lab, days.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
Experience in a PACU setting
Pre/post operative experience
Pre/Post Cath Lab experience
Experience with cardioversion
Experience with TEE (transesophageal echocardiography)
Experience with Epic
Driver's License
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

Stress Testing experience
Professional reference/reference check from within 24 months of today’s date

Additional Details

1st time travelers accepted with at least 3 years experience
Unit has 2 procedure rooms and 3 pre/post bays
Patient types include non invasive cardiology procedures, TEE, cardioversions, stress testing, prep/post, and procedural
Ratio is 1:3
Contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays and 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver’s license
Work history/resume/employment history must show 24 months of current pre/post op or cath or cardiac experience
Skills checklist must match the discipline listed on the job
Orientation dates: 10/26, 11/2, 11/9
