Required Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2 years of critical care experience
• Wyoming State License for Respiratory Care
• RRT/CRT
• ACLS
• CPR/BLS

Job Duties

• General floor therapy
• Code team
• Rapid response team
• Trauma team
• Manage patients in ER
• Ventilator management from newborn to adult
• CPAP/BiPAP therapy on all ages
• EKGs
• High flow therapy
• Transport team support to another facility if necessary

Float Scope

• Work in all areas of the hospital, including ICU, med/surg, ER, and nursery

Unit / Department Details

• 15 bed ER
• 10 bed ICU
• 15 bed OB post partum
• 34 bed med surg

Schedule

• Rotating 12-hour shifts
• Weekends and holidays
• Call may be required once in 6 weeks
• Two therapists on at a time
• Night shift therapist works independently as the only on-site respiratory therapist, with additional support available through an on-call therapist
• Shifts are scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Additional Notes

• Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
• Scrubs required
