Description
RN - Endoscopy Center
Role Summary
Registered Nurse providing care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures, including prep, intra-procedure, and recovery phases for routine GI procedures such as colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. The role includes direct patient care, moderate sedation under physician direction, and rotating through phase 1 and phase 2 recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Endoscopy (2 years of experience)
- Endoscopy experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Moderate sedation
Preferred Qualifications
- None stated
Schedule
- Day shift
- 4–9 hour shifts
- Rotating start times, typically between 0630 and 0800
- 36 hours per week
Float Scope
- Float between Champaign Endoscopy Center and Digestive Health Department
