Labor and Delivery
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Edmonds, Washington
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Float required as needed
- Staffing ratio: 1:1–3
- Locals at same rate
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- IV Certification
- AWHONN Intermediate
- FHM
- Experience with vaginal delivery
- Experience with cesarean section
- Experience circulating for C-sections
- Experience starting adult IVs
- Experience with blood and blood products administration
- Ability to interpret fetal heart rate strips
- Post Partum experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS preferred

- Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn care
- Vaginal Delivery and Cesarean Delivery
- Circulate in OR
- Start adult IVs
- Blood and blood product administration
- Drains, Epidural Pumps, PCA Pumps
- Insulin and Magnesium Sulfate
- Circulate C/S
- High Risk Antepartum
- High Risk L&D
- LDRP
- Low Risk Antepartum/LD
- OB-GYN
- Post-Op/Pre-Op
- Couplet Care
Notes
- Previous permanent employees of any Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for at least 3 months to qualify for a travel position
- Patient diagnoses include Labor and Delivery/Post Partum/OB Triage/Antepartum/Normal Newborn
