Labor and Delivery
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Edmonds, Washington
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 48 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Staffing ratio: 1:1–3
- Float required as needed
Experience
- 2 years of experience in LDRP, L&D, PP, and Newborn care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- FHM - Fetal Heart Monitoring
- IV Certification
- AWHONN Intermediate
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with vaginal delivery
- Experience with cesarean section
- Experience circulating for C-sections
- Ability to start adult IVs
- Experience with blood and blood products administration
- Experience managing drains, epidural pumps, and PCA pumps
- Experience administering magnesium sulfate
- Ability to interpret fetal heart rate strips
- Post Partum experience
- Antepartum experience
