Echo Tech
Assignment Overview
- Travel assignment in Idaho Falls, Idaho
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 7:00AM-5:30PM
- Scheduled night and weekend call
- Unit: Echo Cost Center 750
Required Qualifications
- Echo Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Echo Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Echo Tech Certification
- ARDMS or ARRT
- Accredited course in echocardiography or 2 years of experience
Unit Details
- Patients are primarily being treated for cardiac problems
- Testing is performed using ultrasound
- Patient acuity can be high
- Patient ages range from neonatal to geriatric
- Exposure to body fluids and blood is always present
- The area can be very stressful due to the stat nature of procedures
