Overview

• Travel assignment in Margate, Florida
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Unit Details

• 18-bed Level 2-3 NICU on the 3rd floor of the Main Hospital
• Same floor as the Post-Partum Unit
• No mandatory call
• First to float to Postpartum to take babies only or help out in Transition; not to be the only RN

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• Experience working with NICU Level 3 patients
• BLS
• NRP

Clinical Experience

• Experience with Jet vents, Oscillator vents, Nitric, central lines, ELBW babies, IV drips, and PIVs
• Experience with jet ventilation
• Experience with HFOV ventilation
• Experience with inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
• Experience with central line management
• Experience managing extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants under 1000g
