Description

Level III NICU RN

Role Overview

Travel/Contract RN assignment in Lubbock, Texas.
Based in a children’s hospital with a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
Unit is a Level IV NICU.
Float between units is required.
Block schedules are required.
On-call is not required.
Weekend coverage is required: 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period, with variable self-scheduling.
Expected ratio: 1:2-4.
48 hours are approved.
Contract length: 13 weeks, with the option to extend longer.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
2 years of NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience.
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year.
NURSYS verification required for all RNs.
ACLS required.
BLS required.
PALS required.
NRP required.

Preferred Qualifications

At least Level III NICU experience.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00.
36 hours per week.
