Pediatrics RN

Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Lubbock, Texas
  • 16-week assignment
  • Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
  • 36 hours per week
  • Float between units
  • On-call required based on unit census
  • Weekends required: 5 shifts in a 6-week period
  • Expected patient ratio: 1:3–5
  • 181-bed Children’s Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Pediatric Med Surg experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Pediatric Med Surg experience
  • Pediatrics experience
  • NURSYS verification required for all RNs
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • 1st timers accepted

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric experience preferred

Additional Notes

  • Scrub color: Navy for RNs
  • Free parking in any unrestricted space
