Overview
- Travel assignment in Lake Charles, Louisiana
- Full-time
- Swing shift: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS
- CST
- Certified Surgical Technologist with 1 year of experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- Experience working with Neurosurgery patients
- Experience working with Orthopedics patients
- Experience working with General Surgery patients
- Experience working with Podiatry patients
- Experience working with Urinary patients
- Experience in Neurosurgery, orthopedics, general surgery, podiatry and urology
- Ability to proficiently scrub 3 specialty areas including but not limited to: Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Titanium Rib, Robotics
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience
- Experience in Neurosurgery, orthopedics, general surgery, podiatry, and urology
- Ability to proficiently scrub 3 specialty areas, including Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Titanium Rib, and Robotics
Unit / Case Mix
- Neurosurgery, orthopedics, general surgery, podiatry, and urology
- No CV
Schedule / Call
- One call weekend per month
Floating
- Not expected right now, but could potentially float to Lake Area
Additional Notes
- Most days involve no more than 4 cases
- Hospital laundered scrubs are provided
