Vascular Surgery

Overview

• 13-week contract in Peoria, Illinois
• 10-hour day shifts
• 40 hours per week
• Department: Vascular Surgery
• 1 suite
• Average of 3 cases per day
• Scrubbing is required

Required Qualifications

• Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• ARRT
• BLS
• At least 2 years of experience with Vascular/Endovascular
• Experience with GE
• Cannot take RCIS

Preferred Qualifications

• IR experience

Schedule and Call

• Weeknight call: 1-2 nights during the week
• Weekend call: every 3rd weekend
• Holiday call rotation
• Call response time: 30 minutes

Floating

• May float within like units and help with Surg Tech

Clinical Details

• Common cases: Endovascular (IR) and Vascular
• Scrub, pass supplies, set up, and take down of the procedure room
• Unit/department-specific orientation includes scrubbing with a hospital surgical tech for a week

Submission Requirements

• Last four digits of clinician’s SSN
• Clinician’s middle initial
• Requested time off

Additional Notes

• Drug screen required for all panels
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Local rate applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles
• Non-billable orientation: 12 hours
• Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
• Call-off policy: equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift
