Travel/Contract role in Winston Salem, North Carolina
13-week assignment
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
36 hours per week
Local candidates accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
2 years of orthopedic nursing experience
Orthopedics experience
Trauma experience

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
Charge Nurse experience
Level I Trauma experience

Unit Details

Orthopedic, Neuro spine, Med-surg, Post-surgical patient population
Average daily census: 37
39 rooms / 39 beds
Fast-paced unit focused on ortho and spine patients

Schedule and Staffing

Expected ratio: 5–6:1, with flexibility up to 7:1 in extreme cases
Every other weekend required
Block scheduling may be available
Travelers may be required to float to any other med surg unit within the facility based on staffing needs

Additional Notes

RTO after booking is not allowed
No holiday RTO can be approved
Up to 7 days of RTO is allowed for auto-offer consideration
