Description
RN Hospice
Overview
- Inpatient hospice role providing care to adult patients at end of life.
- Night shift: 19:00–07:30.
- Schedule includes every third weekend and every other holiday.
- Hours alternate between 24 hours one week (2x12s) and 36 hours the next week (3x12s), for 60 hours across a two-week period.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Hospice (2 years of experience).
- Hospice experience within the last year.
- Experience with Epic.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Onboarding / Compliance
- License/certification verification.
- Influenza vaccine or facility declination.
- Education verification.
- Drug screen.
- Skills checklist.
- Pre-orientation CBL acknowledgement.
- Epic registration acknowledgement form.
- Iowa adult and child abuse requirement.
- CPI/MOAB.
