Med Surg/Telemetry RN
Overview
- Temp assignment in Des Moines, Iowa
- Days shift
- 13-week contract
- 24-bed unit
- Patient ratio: 4-5:1
- Patient types include med surg care, overflow post-op surgical hips/knees, and possible Psych overflow
- Tele tech unit monitoring is remote
- Traveler will float across all campuses
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Experience with Epic
- Experience in Charge roles
- Driver's License
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred
- Experience caring for psych patients
- Precept experience
- Reference/check from within the last 24 months
- Ability and willingness to extend past the initial 13-week contract
