Critical Care Float Pool RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Columbus, Ohio.
- Weekend day shifts plus 1 shift during the week.
- 13-week contract.
- Nurses float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity.
- Float scope includes Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and SICU / MICU / NCCU.
- Float policy: nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio.
- Critical Care Float experience with 2 years of experience.
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- IV Start.
- Telemetry.
- Ventilator management experience.
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience.
- Experience with Epic.
Preferred Qualifications
- None stated.
Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
- 36 hours per week.
- Weekends days plus 1 shift during the week.
Additional Notes
- Required annual stroke education applies to registered nurses working in stroke-capable areas, including CCFP.
