  • Weekend hours: 36
  • Call: yes, 2 hours for the oncoming shift

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Maine
  • Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
  • Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • Experience working with NICU patients
  • Experience working with PICU patients
  • Experience working with Pediatric patients
  • Experience working with Adult patients
  • Tertiary care experience
  • Teaching hospital experience
  • Level 1 Trauma experience
  • Acute care pediatrics experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS
  • NRP for NICU
  • NICU/PICU experience
  • Cardiothoracic experience

Unit Information

  • Number of beds varies depending on daily assignments
  • Team of 14-16 RRTs
  • Patient ratios: acute 1:25, critical 1:8

Scheduling

  • Every other weekend required
  • Participates in call rotation, approximately one call shift per month or as required by the department
