MRI Tech
Overview
- Travel assignment in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
- Unit: Radiology-MRI.
- Location: South Strand campus attached to ER.
- Outpatient-only unit with seldom ER add-ons.
- Staffing: 1 clerical and 1 MRI tech.
- Equipment: Signa Explorer 1.5T.
- Documentation systems: Meditech, GE PACS, Intelerad.
- Floating not required.
- Patient volume: 1 patient every 45 minutes; about 8 procedures per day.
- Dress code: grey scrubs.
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience.
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year.
- ARRT (MR).
- BLS.
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or MRI technology.
- Experience with IV contrast injection.
- MRA exams.
- Body imaging.
- MSK Imaging.
- Neuro Imaging.
- IV training.
Preferred Skills
- Routine MRI.
- Contrast injections.
