Description
Neurosurgical ICU Registered Nurse
Role Overview
- 19-bed Neurosurgical ICU in Cleveland, Ohio
- Cares for acute stroke, SAH, seizures, and post-surgical patients
- Requires invasive intracranial pressure monitoring, frequent neurological assessments, hemodynamic monitoring, and routine CT, MRI, and Angio
- Typical assignment ratio: 2-3 patients per nurse
- May float to other ICUs and Step downs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Neuro ICU experience within the last year
- 1 year of Neuro ICU experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Driver's License
