6W Neuro MedSurg RN

Location

  • Morgantown, West Virginia

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Unit Details

  • 6 WEST - Neuro
  • 20 beds total, including 14 floor beds
  • Nurse aides are available on the unit
  • Tele is present on the unit
  • Charge nurse coverage is 24/7
  • RT is available 24/7

Schedule

  • Nights
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 36 hours per week
  • Weekend requirement applies
  • Holiday rotation required

Floating

  • May float first to 7E, 7W, 7NE, or 10E
  • May then be offered to the rest of the hospital if needed

Required Qualifications

  • BLS
  • NIHSS in hand at time of submission
  • Strong Neuro experience
  • Proficiency and frequency with G-tubes
  • Recent Epic experience
  • RN license

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS

Clinical Focus

  • Neurosciences
  • DBS (Deep Brain Stimulators)
  • Stroke
  • Seizures
  • Surgical/PostOp Spines
  • Neurological Disorders

Additional Details

  • Travelers need to be flexible with scheduling
  • Scrubs: any combination of white and royal blue
  • One shift of unit orientation
