RN - IR

Overview

Travel RN role in Interventional Radiology
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7A–5P, plus call
Unit: Interventional Radiology
Floor: 1st
Building: Main
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36

Unit Details

150 beds
5 staff members
Day shift staffing includes 2 IR RNs and 2 IR Techs
Night shift is on call only, with weekend call
Patient ratio: 1:1
Equipment includes Siemens Single plane c arm

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a hospital setting
BLS
ACLS
PALS

Preferred Qualifications

Meditech experience
Good vascular access skills
PICC line or midline experience

Procedures / Clinical Work

Para/thora/LVO/FNA/Mid line/Piccline/Kypho/PE thrombectomy
Vascular access
Conscious sedation
Critical care

Call Requirements

On-call is 5P–7A on weeknights and 24 hours on weekends
7–9 shifts per month
