Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Kodiak, Alaska
• Start date: ASAP
• Shift: 3x12 Variable
• Contract length: 26 weeks
• First timers accepted
• Weekend work required
• Floating within scope may be required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Pending license is not accepted
• Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
• On-call is not required

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Alaska
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• AWHONN Intermediate

Housing

• Housing is provided during the assignment
• Typically 1-bedroom apartments
• Move-in is available no earlier than 72 hours before contract start and no later than 24 hours after contract end
• Pets are not allowed
• Housing is typically for the traveler only; additional family members require approval
• Housing must be cleaned at departure or additional cleaning fees may apply
