Description
Occupational Therapist
Overview
- Contract role in Bethel, Alaska
- Full-time outpatient and inpatient occupational therapy care
- May include work at a local Long Term Care facility
- Treats all patient age ranges and diagnoses within Alaska occupational therapy scope of practice
- Includes home visits, village travel, and frequent collaboration with medical providers
- Day shift
- 32 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Alaska
- BLS
- NBCOT
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical experience is preferred
Housing and Travel
- Private housing is not provided
- Housing is in shared units
- No pets allowed
- Airfare is reimbursed after arrival
- Flight itinerary must be provided at least 1 week in advance
- Returning travelers are not picked up
Onboarding Notes
- Traveler may not travel until all credentials have been received and cleared
- New Employee Orientation occurs every Tuesday and Wednesday only
