RN - Behavioral Health

Overview

Travel RN assignment in West Palm Beach, Florida
Unit: JFK North– Psych (657)
Must be willing to float to Adult, pending census
29-bed behavioral health unit
36 hours per week
Contract length: 8 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Behavioral Health (2 years of experience)
Behavioral Health experience within the last year
BLS
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an Acute Care setting

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
Previous Meditech experience

Unit Details

Typical patient ratios: 1:1, 2:1
Day shift staffing includes Director, 5-6 RNs, CANs, and LPNs
Night shift staffing includes Charge RN, 3-4 RNs, and multiple on-call staff
Travelers may wear scrubs or street clothes on the unit

Additional Notes

The unit is described as a behavioral health setting with a focus on comfort and residential character
The role is in a behavioral health and psychiatric services environment
