Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech
Overview
- Travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine
- 13-week contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 4x10s
- Weekend and weeknight call required
- Float required
- Out-of-state travelers only
Unit / Setting
- OR and Supplies
- 8 OR rooms
- Level III trauma
- Main OR performs cardiac, ortho, gyn, gen, ENT, urology, plastics, robotics, podiatry, and endoscopy cases
Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS
- NBSTSA or NCCT
- Vascular experience required
- Experience with robotic surgery, including da Vinci XI robot and Mako robot
- Experience with Cerner
Preferred
- Trauma experience
- DaVinci XI robot experience
- Mako robot experience
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair experience
- Carotid endarterectomy experience
- Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR) experience
- Femoral popliteal bypass graft experience
