ICU RN
Overview
- Rural community hospital ICU assignment in Greenville, Ohio
- 6-bed ICU unit
- 13-week contract
- 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
- Start ASAP
Required Qualifications
- RN license in Ohio
- BLS
- ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
- NIHSS
Unit Details
- The unit is described as a high-acuity step-down / low-acuity ICU
- Typical patients include MICU and SICU
- The unit is the hospital’s current COVID unit
- Common diagnoses include sepsis, COPD, DKA, OD, renal, surgical, and respiratory issues
- Ratio is 1:2
Float / Coverage
- Required to float to MS/Tele
- Expected to float to Tele-MedSurg
Schedule
- 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays are not usually worked, depending on schedule and perm staff availability
Other Details
- 1 shift of floor orientation provided
- Scrub color: royal blue
- ECG exam expected on the first day
- EMR: CPSI-Evident
