Behavioral Health Unit Registered Nurse - Psychiatric

Overview

Location: Concord, New Hampshire
Shift: 12hr Nights
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in New Hampshire
2 years of psychiatric experience
Psychiatric experience within the last year
BLS
CPI or MOAB
Driver's License
Experience with emergency department (ED) crisis stabilization
Experience with admission referral processing and clinical information extraction for physician review

Preferred

Cerner experience

Additional Details

Must be comfortable going to the ED pod with another RN and open to learning to handle that setting alone if no prior ED crisis stabilization experience
Must be able to process an admission referral from other local EDs by reviewing faxed clinical information and presenting it to an MD for admission consideration
May be requested to float to Concord-Franlik and Concord Hospital-Laconia, 80 Highland Street, Laconia, NH, 03246
