Overview

• Travel contract for an experienced ER RN in Enumclaw, Washington.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Orientation/education hours are not guaranteed during the first 2 weeks; expect 25+ hours.

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS.
• Active ACLS.
• Active WA License.
• 2 full years of ER experience.
• ER and ICU experience.
• PALS or ENPC.
• TNCC.

Assignment Details

• Unit: Emergency Department.
• 11 beds with 1 trauma bay.
• About 35 patients per day.
• Ratio: 4:1.
• Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend.
• Holidays required.
• Charge nurse: yes.
• Nurse aides/paramedics: none.
• Tele/Monitor Techs: none.
• Vents: PB980s.
• ED providers: 1 ED provider 24 hours/day.
• Lab draws handled by phlebotomists.
• IV team available during business hours.
• RT available 24/7.
• Pharmacy not available 24/7.
• Floor-specific orientation: yes.

Floating

• Will float to ICU.
• May also be required to float throughout Region II, including St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, WA and St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA.
