Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Nevada
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• One 13-week or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Ability to identify and measure cardiac rhythm strips

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent inpatient telemetry/PCU experience
• Experience caring for typical patient populations and familiarity with common diagnoses and related treatments, including pre-/post-cath care, CHF, AKI, COPD, CVA, and ETOH

Unit Details

• 38-bed telemetry unit
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4 to 1:6
• May float to Intensive Care Units for a telemetry/medical appropriate assignment and to medical-surgical units

Scheduling Notes

• Call is not required
• May be required to work major holidays
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Facility may call off without penalty for low census, up to 48 hours per 13-week contract
