Description
ER RN
Overview
- Contract assignment in Pahala, Hawaii.
- Small critical access hospital with no separate units; RNs cover all areas.
- Role covers ER, Acute, and LTC.
- 13-week contract.
- 6 x 12-hour shifts, 72 hours in a two-week period, with every 3rd weekend off.
- Hours are not guaranteed.
- Not a latex-free facility.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii.
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience).
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year.
- BLS.
- ACLS.
- CPI.
- NIHSS.
- NRP.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Assignment Notes
- If assigned to the ER and there are no patients, RN will provide backup in the acute and LTC areas.
- If assigned to meds, RN will pass meds and do procedures for LTC and acute patients.
- Must arrive the Thursday before start for an employee health appointment on Friday.
