RN Acute Care Med-Surg Adult

Overview

Contract RN role in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
13-week assignment.
12-hour day shifts with weekend rotation.
Must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period if requested due to staffing needs.
36 hours per week.

Unit / Setting

Acute Care / Med-Surg / Observation Unit
Census is growing due to increased Ortho surgeries, Hybrid Cath Lab procedures/surgeries, and acute/chronic illnesses.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
BLS issued by the American Heart Association

Preferred

ACLS issued by the American Heart Association.

Additional Notes

Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
Flu vaccine is required for all travelers from Oct 1 through April 1, with no exemptions.
