Cardiac Cath Lab RN
Overview
- Travel assignment in Pasadena, Texas
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Unit Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab
- 3 beds
- 8 full-time staff and 3 PRN staff
- Day shift staffing depends on case load; 3-4 staff per room with at least 1 tech per room
- Night shift is call only with 2 RN and 1 tech each night
- On call is 24 hours at a time Fri-Sun
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- Previous cath lab experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- RCIS
- Experience with chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions
- Experience with ECMO
Procedures / Clinical Experience
- Heart Caths
- CTO
- high risk PCI
- Ablations: afib, aflutter, SVT, PVC
- Devices: PPM, ICD, Watchman
- Peripheral angio with/without intervention
- ECMO cannulation
- Thrombectomy
