Required Qualifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP
• RRT or CRT accepted
• 5 years minimum experience
• Experience with bubble cpap
• Experience assisting c-section deliveries
• Experience with oxygen setup for patients at discharge

Preferred Qualifications

• None stated

Clinical Setting / Patient Population

• Inpatient and ER
• Adults, pediatrics, and newborns down to 32 weeks
• COPD, asthma, and few trachs
• No newborn ventilator management

Duties

• Neb treatments
• 6 minute walks
• ABG
• Overnight oximetry trends
• C-sections
• Surfactant delivery
• Bubble cpap management
• Assist in intubation only

Schedule

• Nights
• 3x12s/week
• Shift hours: 0600 - 1830 or 1800 - 0630
• Dayshift every 4th weekend
• Holiday coverage required
• One call shift per week
• Christmas night and NYD night required

Float Scope

• Staff expected to work all units

Additional Notes

• First time travelers are okay
• Traveler will always be with at minimum 1 other therapist
• Department orientation: 2 shifts
• Candidates who worked in a permanent capacity at Hancock Health within the last 6 months will not be considered
