PT Outpatient

Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Kodiak, Alaska
• Start: ASAP
• Contract length: 26 weeks
• Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
• Traveler’s choice: 5x8 or 4x10 days
• First timers accepted
• Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Alaska
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatrics
• Adolescents

Work Setting

• Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF coverage
• Float scope includes Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF
• Therapy department serves outpatients, inpatients, and SNF patients, plus wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric specialties

Facility

• Acute Care Medical Center / Long Term Care Facility / Outpatient
• Level IV Trauma
• Critical Access Hospital
• 46 acute care beds
• 22 LTC beds

Additional Notes

• No on-call
• No weekends
• No block schedule
• Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Pending license not accepted
• RTO based on request
• Housing is available during the assignment at additional cost
• Pets are not allowed
