Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Everett, Washington
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 48 hours per week
- First-time travelers accepted
- Weekends required
- Float required to Postpartum
- Call not required
- Locals not accepted
Unit / Setting
- High-risk perinatal care
- Level III
- 19 labor and delivery beds
- 10 antepartum beds
- 30 postpartum beds
- 3 ORs
- 2 PACU
- 7-bay triage
- Based at the Pacific Campus, Pavilion for Women and Children, with comprehensive maternity services and Level II NICU
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery experience: 2 years
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Post Partum experience
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- NRP
- EFM
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in facilities handling 200+ deliveries
- Experience in facilities handling 100–200 deliveries
Additional Notes
- Charting: EPIC
- Scrub color: any, except reddish orange is not permitted
- Guaranteed hours: clinician can be called off for 1 twelve-hour shift per 2-week period
