Overview

• Travel ICU RN needed in Kansas.
• Day shift.
• 13-week contract.

Unit Details

• ICU
• 10 beds
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
• Charge nurse takes an assignment
• No nurse aides on the unit
• Hospitalist or Intensivist in house
• RT in ICU 24/7
• Tele monitors on the unit; tele tech on duty 24/7
• GE monitors

Required Qualifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• RNs required to titrate drips
• Must have experience or required skills, as stated in the source
• Kansas RN license

Preferred

Schedule

• Self-scheduling and block scheduling available
• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Holiday requirement: yes
• Call or standby requirement determined by nurse manager

Floating

• May float to ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele
• May be asked to float into any other acuity level
• May be utilized as a CNA only if needed
• May float within Zone 4

Additional Details

• Navy blue scrubs
• Week of orientation must be completed in state, even if first-day modules are remote
• Driver’s license must be submitted
