Inpatient rehab RN

Overview

Travel RN role in inpatient rehab
Specialty: Inpatient rehab
Unit: Acute Rehabilitation
13-bed unit
Patient population: Adult; Geriatric
Shift: 6:45P-7:15A
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Call: No
Float scope: MedSurg as needed
Patient ratio: 1 RN to 6
Equipment: lift equipment

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
Rehabilitation experience within the last year
1 year of rehabilitation experience
Acute Care experience
Iowa SING BG clearance, including criminal portion and child abuse portion
All background checks must be fully cleared before start
Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult
10-panel drug screen including opiates
Titers within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB

Preferred

Travel experience preferred
MedSurg experience
LTAC experience

Additional Notes

36 or 48 hour guarantee can be accommodated
Monday or Tuesday starts are allowed
Common diagnoses/treatments include Neuro, trauma, burn, gait training/strengthening, and wound vac
